Introducing Taylor Rae Douma

Today we went to have an ultrasound to make sure everything was growing like it should, and all the pieces were there, and to find out the sex. It was one of the best appointments thus far! Well everything is growing just as it should and all the pieces are there for our little girl. And obviously its a girl! Greg and I swore it was a boy because of some old wives tales and such, but we couldn't be more wrong or more happy (along with all family and friends)! She is perfect and we can't wait to meet her. Also as you talk to Greg about it being a girl you can see his heart start to melt already! He's so great with both his nieces and nephews, but has a soft spot for little girls. This is going to be one spoiled little princess! But, he said that he's still putting her to work with him on the dairy :) I can't wait to see her in her little rubber boots that his older brother and sister-in-law bought for us! So the first picture is her profile, and the next one is her legs, private parts, and buttocks, and of course I had to buy an outfit cause it was too fun to find out! As for her name, I have liked Taylor for a girl since I was younger, and Rae is named after my daddy's middle name (although he spells it Ray, I thought and E would make it more feminine) whom I love very much! Well there you have it, and I can't wait to put pictures up of her for all to see!

getting bigger

So I'm 5 months (20 weeks) now and I'm starting to look a little bigger. It's weird to see your body changing so fast, but I guess this is what I signed up for right? Everything is going great so far and we find out if its a boy or girl in 4 days, so I'll keep you all posted! My last doctors' appt went great and the heartbeat is right in the middle at a whopping 150. Everything is going great so far, here's to hoping it keeps up that way!
